LG G8X ThinQ Launch date in India and Spec's

LG may not be a brand that makes headlines everyday but the company does dare to experiment with their smartphones and they've just launched their most audacious phone of the year — the LG G8X ThinQ in India for a price of INR 49,999.
Some Specifications
Following the LG V50 ThinQ, which had a detachable, secondary screen is G8X ThinQ at IFA Berlin — a phone that improves on the same concept. This time, the detachable secondary screen has — same OLED panel, same 6.4-inch size, same resolution, and, as odd as it may seem, same notch.
The secondary screen is actually a phone case, which has a smaller 2.1-inch screen on the outside that displays the items like time and messages.
If you're someone who types a lot on the go, the LG G8X ThinQ makes perfect sense. Image: LG
There are other improvements compared to the last year's model. The secondary screen rotates on a dual hinge that allows 360 degrees of rotation. The screen will stay put at any angle; imagine a tiny laptop that flips into dual-tablet mode, and you'll get a good idea of what the LG G8X ThinQ is like. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, making it easier to unlock when the secondary screen is flipped all around.
The phone is expected to hit store shelves starting December 21 in a single Aurora black colorway

Its Not Really A Foldable Phone Though
The LG G8X ThinQ isn't a foldable phone though, even though it technically is. What I mean is the case with the second display is actually an accessory and you don't have to use it if you don't care about it. Even otherwise though, it comes across as a completely capable flagship.
Internals include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM (nope, no other variants on offer), 128GB of storage and a 4,000 mAh battery. The camera on the back is a 12MP sensor coupled with a 13MP wide-angle one, while the selfie camera is a 32MP shooter (which pixels-bin, ideally producing sharper, brighter 8-megapixel photos in low-light conditions).
Add to that an IP 68 water and dust resistance rating, a MIL-STD-810GB rating for durability, a 3.5mm headphone jack with LDAC support for audiophiles and you have a pretty neat allrounder.
There are still things like battery life and camera quality that I'm unsure of otherwise, but for those who know what they're getting from that secondary display, the INR 49,999 seems like a good enough price to pick the LG G8X ThinQ.
